INVERSE is a choreographic showcase co-produced by EMiMOTION and Alysa Pires Dance Projects, that allows two choreographers to create two new  works from 10 - 20 minutes in length, to be presented in a Toronto theatre venue. Through a small application fee of $10, INVERSE provides all marketing and promotional materials, rehearsal space, theatre venue, lighitng and sound designer/technician as well as a photographer and videographer for selected choreographers. INVERSE shows are twice a year to reperesent the various types of choreographers we have in Toronto. INVERSE provides a mix program which allows all types of audiences to come and view the different dance works. INVERSE showcases all types of dance from, contemporary, jazz, urban, ballet, burlesque, cultural, circus, performance art, ballroom etc. We ask the selected choreographers through an application process how they propose to create two works up to 20 minutes in length.
